Journey Through the CloudsVancouver to Jasper

A 2-day journey from the coast through British Columbia's Interior to Jasper and the highest peaks of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 1

Vancouver to Kamloops

Depart Vancouver early and travel from the Fraser Valley through forests, winding river canyons, and the desert-like landscapes of British Columbia's Interior. Highlights include Hell's Gate, the Fraser Canyon, and the Thompson River. The day ends beside Kamloops Lake, with an overnight stay in Kamloops.

Day 2

Kamloops to Jasper

Follow the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains toward the Continental Divide. See Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, and Yellowhead Pass before arriving in Jasper National Park in the evening.

Breakfast and lunch are served onboard on both days.

First Passage to the WestVancouver to Banff

Two days of all-daylight rail travel through Canada's West, historic mountain passes, and the iconic landscapes of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 1

Vancouver to Kamloops

Depart Vancouver early and travel through the Fraser Valley, the Coast and Cascade Mountains, and the dramatic Fraser Canyon. Pass Hell's Gate and follow the Thompson River before an overnight stay in Kamloops.

Day 2

Kamloops to Banff

Continue east across ranchlands, rocky lakeshores, and high mountain passes. Highlights include Craigellachie, Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels, and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks surrounding Banff.

Breakfast and lunch are served onboard on both days.
